Jeremy Wendelin (saxophone, flute, clarinet) grew up in Lakewood, Colorado. He took up the alto saxophone at 10 and in high school began to seriously study jazz and classical music. He studied the saxophone with Robert Musser at the University of Puget Sound, and won that school's Concerto/Aria Contest. At UPS, he also shared the stage with jazz greats such as Ray Brown, Poncho Sanchez, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Ernestine Anderson, and T.S. Monk; in particular, he was honored to have the late, great Art Farmer join his quartet for a concert set at UPS.

Jeremy has been a performer, composer, and arranger in the Denver area since 2000. He has performed at jazz clubs, festivals, concert series, theaters, and private events. As a freelance player, Jeremy is in demand throughout Colorado, playing jazz, classical, rock, and beyond. As a bandleader and soloist, he has focused on creating exciting, inspiring jazz for a devoted and growing audience.

He also holds a Doctorate in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Arizona. He is a retired Professor of Music from Metropolitan State College, and Conductor and Music Director of the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra and the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra.

Bill has played professionally since a very early age. Although raised in the modern jazz piano tradition Bill has developed an acute interest in a theoretical history of jazz pianists, and in discovering exactly why different styles sound the way they do. As a result, Bill has synthesized many influences, and can demonstrate stylistic variety in his playing, As a pianist, conductor, and writer, Dr. Morse has performed with notable celebrities which include Henry Questa, Doc Severinson, Dr. Billy Taylor, the Chenille Sisters, Wynton Marsalis, and Dick Hyman, as well as many well known classical artists.

This start prepared Gieg for a career in California which included performing with the Four Freshmen, Sue Raney, Don Ellis Jazz Orchestra and bassist for several years with Johnny Mathis.

Gieg’s musical inertia was temporarily interrupted by a stint in the army, after which he moved to Denver. That was in 1970, and he has since performed at numerous jazz parties and festivals as well as national and international tours. Some of the many major artists Gieg has performed with include: Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Williams, Rosemary Clooney, Chet Baker, Teddy Edwards, Ken Peplowski, Houston Person, Peter Appleyard, Carl Fontana, Clark Terry, Bill Watrous, Plas Johnson, Sylvia Sims, Ralph Sutton, Peanuts Hucko and Flip Phillips just to name a few.
